About Harboe

In 1883, Harboe's Brewery was founded with a clear purpose: to supply the local population in Skaelskør with tasty beer. This ambition was manifested through the delivery of beer barrels directly to people's doors from the brewery's location at Agegade 20, using horse-drawn carriages.

This was just the first step on a long and successful journey for the company. Towards the end of the 19th century, new techniques were introduced at the brewery, including pasteurization and the development of brewing yeast. This led to the bottling of beer, increasing the availability and popularity of the products.

In the mid-1920s, Harboe's Brewery continued its development by introducing modern production methods and machinery. These included refrigeration systems to ensure the quality of the beer, bottle rinsers for cleaning bottles, rotating bottling machines for efficient production, and machines for capping, corking, and labeling to provide products with a professional finish and packaging. This continuous investment in technology and innovation helped strengthen Harboe's position as a leading player in the beer industry.

Today, Harboe stands not only as a leading brewery in Skaelskør, Denmark, but has also established itself as a significant player in the global beverage market.
